Beware of the Scary Parakeet

So, yesterday I went with Ava's Pre-K class on a field trip to the zoo. They have this parakeet exhibit. You go inside this area and all these birds are flying around. For a dollar you can buy a popsicle stick with a tiny amount of bird seed stuck to probably something like peanut butter. Anyhow, oncey ou have the stick you just stand there arm out streched and sure enough within seconds really a parakeet will land on your stick and eat the food. Ava happily took her stick and put her arm out, but was not so excited once the bird actually landed. She held on for just enough time for me to snap this picture before shaking the stick and flinging the bird off.
